Custom Siding Patterns

The beauty of cedar is it can be milled into many different patterns and sizes to provide a unique look to your home or project. If you don't find the pattern or size you desire in our products catalog see patterns for a guide to the many patterns available. You also want to consider what texture you want on your siding. Most common is a sawn texture known as resawn. This texture is produced by a large band saw with a special resaw blade. A resawn texture is not only visually beautiful, but also provides a great surface for the stain or paint coating, and helps hide minor damage that may occur over the years. Another choice is smooth, this is produced by a planner or moulder with several knives that not only make the product smooth but also profile the wood to the desired pattern.

How long will it take to mill my siding?
Once the grade and pattern has been selected, it will be ready for prefinishing or shipment in 2-3 weeks.

What if I need additional material?
We always keep a small sample piece from every order so we can match the exact size and pattern from the original run.
